1 Ideal size - Indian & American ~30mm(H), 23mm(W), 13mm(D). Taiwanese ~36mm(H), 26mm(W), 19mm(D). Ideal Material - Usually acrylic for premium finish, melamine for affordable option. Extra tiles are given, incase one loses a tile or it gets broken.
2 Racks = 4 in numbers for 4 players, used for placing your tile in both concealed and exposed position. Ideal size - ~18 inches -24 inches (W), 1-1.5 inches (H), ~2.5 inches (D). Material - Wooden looks premium, available in plastic also. With Pushers and place to put counting sticks helpful.
3 Counting Sticks = 35,000 for each player, denomination (100*10 =1,000, 500*10 = 5,000, 1,000*9 = 9,000, 10,000*2= 20,000), totalling to 1,40,000 (35,000 x 4) for all players. Can be sticks or discs. Japanese Riichi = 25,000
